This morning, I had an early morning walk and inspection tour of the facilities at the ongoing construction site of the Hensard University Teaching Hospital and Medical College preparatory to commencement of the college of Medical sciences hopefully next year.
We started this two years ago and I am happy with the quality of construction. It will turn out to be one of the best teaching hospitals with diagnostic facilities and offer medical education. (Medicine, Nursing, pharmacy, medical laboratory technology, bio medical engineering etc)next year.
I commend the engineers and the medical team. We have since started the Hensard Hospital giving free medical treatment to a lot of people, particularly to pregnant and nursing mothers and we will soon officially launch our community health and support programmes and the maternal and infant mortality reduction programs all these will be anchored by the Hensard University Teaching Hospital when it is operational and it will also give quality medical education.
Already, we have secured partnerships in Nigeria and abroad with credible institutions that will bring quality education and medical care to our people.
