Yesterday, His Excellency, Senator Lawrence Ewrhudjakpor, the deputy Governor of Bayelsa state and his entourage paid a new year visit to me at my country home in Toru Orua and I received them warmly and prayed for this year to be better for him, his family, his office, the government and all of us in the state.
I told him that he has been a great ambassador of the local government and the Senatorial District and servant of the state. I commended his loyalty to his Boss His Excellency Governor Douye Diri and his passion and dedication for the success of the government and the state, which is evident.
On behalf of my family, I wish him a prosperous and happy year 2024 and I thanked him for coming.
