Today, I invited and received a prominent Nollywood Movie Producer and Chairman Board of Trustees Association of Movie Producers of Nigeria, Chief Zeb Ejiro, OON who came to compare notes with me on the Film School of the Department of Film and Multimedia Studies of Hensard University.
We hope to have a training institution for Creative Arts to enable our Young people key into this very critical and massive sector of the Nigerian economy, not yet fully tapped in this part of the country. I encourage young people with love for Arts to identify with the department of Film and Multimedia Studies. Admission is ongoing and because of its importance, my foundation will award scholarships in that area and I encourage governments and institutions to do the same. It’s a massive industry and our people have the talent for it as well.
I also received a prominent scientist, Dr. Nnaemeka Ndodo, a Molecular Bioengineer who is one of the leading scholars in the field of Biomolecular science, Former Chief Molecular Bioengineer, National Reference Laboratory of the National Center of Disease Control, who will be starting with Hensard University at the center for Genomics and Bioscience. The center and the University is poised to be a leading place of scientific research.
I encourage parents and students with love for science to be enrolled in the Faculty of Science.
