Today, the Chairman of the Nigeria Bar Association(NBA) Yenagoa branch, Mr. Somina Johnbull with a delegation made up of his executives and his predecessor who is my friend, brother and former classmate, Mr. U. Saiyou paid a courtesy call on me in my residence in Abuja.
I thanked them for the services they are rendering to the bar and also appreciated the sacrifices of all the members of the bar over the years.
As a pioneer officer of the branch, my thoughts, prayers and solidarity will always be with the branch irrespective of the engagements I am involved in.
I am pleased with the progress the bar has made over the years including the birthing of another branch and I look forward to supporting them in any way possible.
