Today, I paid a condolence visit in company of Traditional Rulers and leaders of Bayelsa West to the home of my elder brother, Chief Gbalipre Turner who lost his wife and was buried yesterday.
I visited him and expressed my condolences on behalf of my family and the people of Bayelsa West. Outside Toru Orua, I take Opume and Otuoke as my home in Ogbia Local Government and whatever happens to my friends touches me and I always show support. The Turner family is part of my family in Opume and I have always identified with them. As I stated in my condolence letter, I stand with him and his family in this period of mourning. I condole with him and the children and all the members of the family.
I visited the chairman council of Chiefs and other chiefs of the community and participated in the traditional burial rites on behalf of my family we pray God to grant her soul eternal rest and comfort the family that she left behind. I wish the Turner family and the entire Opume community well and pray that we should have happier occasions to celebrate friendship and brotherhood.
