On behalf of the Okrikpakpa, the head of the King Kpadia Royal family council and members of the family, I heartily felicitate with our new king HRM King Dr. Seiyefa Koroye on his coronation as the Pere of Tarakiri Kingdom, Angolo Kirimosou and his lovely Queen Dr. Mrs Grace S. Koroye and all sons and daughters of Tarakiri kingdom.
I appreciate His Excellency the Governor and the Government of Bayelsa State and the officials who went as part of the Governor’s entourage to grace the occasion and formally present the Staff of Office.
I appreciate the deputy speaker Rt. Hon. Michael Ogbere who represented me on account of my unavoidable absence occasioned by the inclement weather.
I congratulate the regent High Chief Fidelis Agbiki and members of his council who carried out the first assignment by giving a befitting burial to our late king, King Richard-ford Orukarebai Koroye, Angolo Kirimosou.
Thereafter, the regent and his council worked tirelessly to handle all the processes leading to the selection and installation of our new king and I thank all those who served as members of all committees.
I thank all the High Chiefs and Amanana-otus and all the elders and stakeholders and even contestants who have decided to put everything behind to support the king to move forward in the interest of the kingdom.
I urge everyone to continue to give support to the new king and his team for the unity and progress and development of Tarakiri kingdom.
Knowing the pedigree of our new king we have no doubt that he will discharge his traditional responsibilities very well as leader and father of all Tarakiri sons and daughters being a symbol of the Kingdom.
