Today, in company of my aides I visited our National leader, Elder and Father Pa E.K Clark at his residence as I normally do for New Year homage and consultations.
It was a happy coincidence as I met him presiding over the usual meetings of Southern Nigeria and Middle Belts Forum made up of the Pandef Leadership, President General of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, President General of Middle Belt and representatives of Afenifere, presided over by Pa Clark. They were into serious deliberations for the good of Nigeria in our collective quest for an inclusive and egalitarian Nigeria.
I presented my new year homage to our father and as usual he was very gracious in blessing me as other leaders did same. I received their blessings and contributed briefly to their deliberations.
In my remarks, I thanked them for recognizing, working and supporting the leadership of our dear father E.K Clark all these years. I recognised their tireless efforts in fighting for a restructured, equal and inclusive Nigeria. I urged them not to relent no matter the frustrations and challenges.
I reminded them that, I was the only Governor to have hosted all the ethnic Nationalities and geopolitical groups in and I spoke at the rally in Yenagoa. I have always been at the forefront of the campaigns for a restructured Nigeria and will always be
I wished them a Happy New Year and fruitful deliberations.
