Senator Dickson attends the reception of the Minister of State for Petroleum, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri
Yesterday, I attended the reception of the Minister of State for Petroleum, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri at his residence in Abuja which was well attended by several dignitaries from Bayelsa state and beyond.
On behalf of my family, the good people of Bayelsa West Senatorial District and indeed the entire Bayelsa State and the Ijaw nation, I offer sincere and heartfelt congratulations to my brother Senator Lokpobiri and wish him a very fruitful tenure that will add to the development of our people, the Senatorial District in particular, Bayelsa State and the Ijaw nation in general.
As it is my practice and tradition, I have always supported every Bayelsan and Ijaw man at the national level irrespective of political differences, platform or position and I have no doubt that Senator Lokpobiri understands the issues and will bring to bear his wealth of experience in ensuring that our people in Bayelsa West Senatorial District, Bayelsa State, the Ijaw nation and Nigeria at large, benefit from his services at his ministry.
I urge him to collaborate with the Bayelsa State Government to fast-track development in our state.
Senator Lokpobiri has my full support and I call on all our people to give him full support, encouragement and prayers.
